Lori Duncan (3rd season/3eme saison) |
Ease, sensitivity, power, nuance. Since joining Le Groupe Dance Lab in 2005, Lori has expanded the breadth of her interpretive skills, leaping, charging, sweeping and melting with utmost commitment. She is a Ryerson University graduate and previously danced with Decidedly Jazz Danceworks in Calgary. She also worked independently in Alberta, forming Raw Glass Dance Collective with dance artists Helen Husak and Natalie Poissant. |

Marie Claire Forté (5thseason/5eme saison) |
Dancing and creating at Le Groupe Dance Lab since January 2004, Marie Claire focuses on minutiae, space and solitude in her artistic expression. In the summer of 2007, she made a video through a residency at Daïmõn in Gatineau, presented her solo Alexandra Bridge in Montréal and created for the Contemporary Dance Summer Intensive at the School of Dance in Ottawa. In 2006, she performed her solo Dear Susan at the Canada Dance Festival, and was one of eight choreographers to attend ImpulsTanz’ The Adventure in Vienna. She graduated from the School of Toronto Dance Theatre in 1999, and worked as an independent artist in Toronto and in Montréal before joining Le Groupe Dance Lab. She is also a translator, a writer and a Pilates teacher. |

Alanna Kraaijeveld (4th season/4eme saison) |
This is Alanna's fourth season at Le Groupe Dance Lab. In addition to her work at the Lab, Alanna has worked with Michael Trent and Susanna Hood. Alanna has an interest in multidisciplinary work. She has helped develop and has participated in video projects for dance artists Michael Menegon, Michael Trent, Elizabeth Langley, Paul André Fortier, and Marie Claire Forté. Alanna is a graduate of the School of Toronto Dance Theatre's Professional Training Program. |

James Phillips (3rd season/3eme saison) |
James graduated from the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School in 1999, and toured with the Royal Winnipeg in North America and around the world. He completed his training at the Winnipeg School of Contemporary Dancers in 2005 before joining The Dance Lab as an apprentice. James is enjoying the challenges as a professional this season and would like to thank his family for their ongoing support. |

Josh Martin (1st season/1ere saison) |
Josh is a versatile dance artist and instructor. Hailing from Alberta, Josh has danced his way over both Pacific and Atlantic oceans, across Europe where he lived, worked and trained. With his eclectic dance background, he has performed in theatres, in clubs, on stages, in streets, with recording artist tours, on film and in television. He has worked with independent choreographers in Vancouver and abroad, namely Ruckus Dance Company, Freeform Tribe, The Source, Amber Funk Barton, Shay Kuebler and Martha Carter. Most recently, Josh has been working with The 605 Collective, a small group of emerging dance artists, melding different hip hop styles with a variety of ballet based dance forms. Josh is eager to learn, always taking on new challenges in his chosen art. |

Nathan Yaffe (1st season/1ere saison) |
Raised in Amherst, Massachusetts, Nathan began his training at the Pioneer Valley Performing Arts High School. He went on to continue his studies at Purchase College in New York, and at Codarts in the Netherlands before finding his way to the great northern neighbour. For the past three years, Nathan has worked in New York City with artists such as Kate Hilliard, Corrine Donly, Ofelia Loret de Mola, and Kate Hutter. Nathan joined Le Groupe Dance Lab in September 2007. |
